Premier Waste Services provides low cost plastic waste recovery, collections and recycling infrastructure with an effective waste pickers network in managing plastic waste in Ghana.

Challenges with improper waste disposal in Kumasi inspired the entrepreneur behind Premier Waste to play an active role in trying to solve them. An existing lack of actors, businesses and structures is what this startup wants to tackle. By providing low cost plastic waste recovery, collection and recycling infrastructure with an effective network of waste pickers, it is aiming at contributing to the management of plastic waste in Ghana. Premier Waste is active in the Ashanti Region and focuses on PET bottles. The startup is planning on expanding its own existing infrastructure and exploring new modes and scales of waste collection.
